Singleton Rugby Club has recently received Grant funding via the NSW Governments Stronger Country Communities Fund program.

This funding has allowed the Club to construct a new Amenities area within the Clubhouse replacing the old downstairs facilities these new facilities include Male, Female, Disable toilets and a Parents room.

The improvements are part of the SRC Boards strategic plan securing our club’s future and improving our Club’s facilities.

These new facilities also include external access for when the Clubhouse is closed or not trading allowing our Juniors access to the improved facilities when playing or training at Rugby Park.

The new facility construction has just been completed and our members, patrons and players will be able to see the improvements next time they visit Rugby Park.

Singleton Rugby Club Board would like to thank the hard work of the small team from the Club that worked hard to obtain the Grant funding, plan and complete a large amount of work to ensure we could deliver this project.

The Club also thanks the NSW Government for the grant funding and the support to our great Club.

The recent upgrades at Singleton Rugby Club highlight the importance of community investment in local sports facilities. By expanding amenities and ensuring accessibility, they are catering to a wider demographic. However, one must consider how these enhancements will impact overall club engagement and sustainability in the long term. The relationship between local funding and community development, such as the Royal Reels initiative, merits further examination to understand its broader implications.
